“I am familiar with Potomac Grocer because my son lives in Potomac, MD and I purchase gift cards for him since this is his favorite place. Beth and Max at the store make this possible for me to do. But for Thanksgiving this year, my son decided to surprise me with an amazingly delicious dinner from Potomac Grocer. The fresh turkey was already prepared to put in the oven to cook. The vegetables just needed reheating. The detailed directions were amazing . The choices that were given could not have been better. I couldn’t believe how extensive the choices were! Our meal was perfect and so scrumptious! Please take my advice and give it a try next year. I know that you won’t regret it. Also stop in to experience some of the delectable prepared foods ready to take home daily. Love this place and Max and Beth too!”

“There is always one product that I need to taste before I could buy it. That’s potato salad. So I just picked up lunch from this place and I asked for a taste of the potato salad. Let me say I’ve gotta give it a high nine point something. It has flavor and seasoning without punching you in your mouth. I can see the fresh herbs and the chunks of hard boiled egg are not those tiny chopped up bits. The potatoes are cut to a great size. A lot of times people will just take like a small red potato and order it and then boil it and make potato salad and that’s just way too big. Also, just the right amount of dressing or mayonnaise to make it well dressed, but not soup. But one final thing if you are looking for something obnoxiously, sweet and yellow, don’t look here. It’s my personal opinion that no potato salad should be sweet. And theirs passes that test as well. I had the meatloaf for my main course and it was good even cold. Plenty of other stuff in the deli case that I want to try next time. Fantastic place will definitely go back.”
